Traveling to Alaska was an experience I will not soon forget. I had so much fun chasing a moose in real time up the mountains at the flattop park . I loved the sculpture of the moose that is on display upon arrival at the airport. So you can imagine my excitement when I came across the actual animal. It took my breath away. It was raining and cold but I only realized that after the moose was far out of site.
Other animals I saw at the zoo that were new to me included the Yak and the bactrian camel with two hunch backs.
There was the bear family of three that put up a show , what an amazing afternoon as I washed them play and toss each other around. They looked heavy, fluffy , cute and wild all at the same time. A great sensation in my opinion. Another interesting animal was the white bear raging and restless in its zoo home. He could not stand still for a minute , hard to get picture of him. I was wondering why the white bear was not quite white as I had imagined, instead looked quite dirty with a big stain patch on its fair , hmmmm i did not like that. Otherwise I had a great time with the animals.
