“Dale Chihuly is an American glass sculpture and entrepreneur. His works are considered to possess outstanding artistic merit in the field of blown glass” It is one thing to read about this guy and another thing to actually see his works. Located in Washington Seattle is the Chihuly glass museum. The art of glass blowing is something I’ve never experienced before. I was literally blown out of my mind just like the glass. The bright lights , the fire , the expertise and the design was fascinating as I actually got to see it done, the day I visited.
The art collection is one you can never forget. Different shapes , gardens formed with blown glass and much more. Glass blowing art is one of the many things I have seen and learned in my travels. I am now able to wrap this activity under my belt and also able to recognize a piece when I see it in big hotel lobbies and smile to myself in acknowledgment. Also in Seattle, the best food i had was at Pikes place. This farmers market has a vast array of goodies that will enhance your trip. There is the original Starbucks location too if you are fan. The Gum wall is something I came across , but I wasn’t too keen about it , though others think its fascinating. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.!!
