In lieu of travel , you can enjoy the month of October by doing some family fun activities, take long drives to see the Fall leaves, go to a pumpkin patch or any farm. In this edition I went to Mary’s Farm in Maryland. I was quite surprised to see how big the farm was and all they hard. I was going for pumpkins , but I got to have fun a a hay maze, gather pumpkins , play with horses , talk to ducks, goose and geese and watch the pigs fight over food. The highlight of my day was the stone crossing bridge to the pig farm. It was a competition between me and the ducks swimming through to the other side faster than I could cross over the water. That was o much fun. Also watching the geese swim in the fountain enhanced pond presented a breathtaking experience. Another favorite for me was bringing home some duck eggs that were freshly picked while I was on the farm.
Other activities included a corn maze , life music , food trucks and drinks as well as professional photography.
This is a fun activity for any one to do before the season is over. Be sure to enjoy something made out of pumpkin such as a pumpkin pie , mouse , cake , coffee , candles , soaps and fragrances.
