las Vegas Nevada is the town that never sleeps and with so many things to do that tires you out. It was my birthday weekend and I decided to do a Vegas trip. All my visits to this town had been fun but this time had an added twist. The stripe was practically dead , the shops were mostly closed. very few people walking the streets. The show girls were barely out. My favorite buffets were not open, casinos only had a hand full of people in them. The one which shocked me the most was the empty MGM grand unbelievable.
Nonetheless, there is a bright side to every dark cloud. I reveled in the luxury of beautiful hotel lobbies with no crowd. Enjoyed long morning walks with no hindrance. It was my birthday weekend and the fountain display at Belagio hotel, came on just for me ( ok not specifically ha ha ) but I was there alone so it might as well had been tailor made just for me. The same experience was true for the volcanic eruption at the Mirage hotel.
Oh wait: there is also a new way to enjoy buffet dinners. I had one at the Cosmopolitan hotel, all food items were laid out nicely behind counters , and you had servers handing you food items from afar. I particularly loved been handed my very hot and tasty chicken wings in a small basket. Great experience! Safety precautions were easy to keep since there were not many people to start with.
If you have never been to Vegas, be sure to make it your next vacation spot. If you have visited before , you can always go back for more fun items that you might have missed.
Hope the pictures below gives you an idea of what is in store for your next Vegas visit.
